Meet Dr. Nikita Vakil

A Patient-Favorite Among Woodlands Dentists

Dr. Nikita Vakil is a 2004 graduate with honors from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She completed her residency in 2005 at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. A native of Florida, she also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami.

Dedicated to her ongoing professional development, Dr. Vakil has also completed more than 500 hours of continuing education that she enjoys integrating into her overall patient experience. She holds certifications in laser treatment, Invisalign tooth alignment treatment, and oral sedation.

A Woodlands’ Community Member

Dr. Vakil feels fortunate to have become a Woodlands dentist. She arrived when her husband’s medical practice brought her and their two children to Texas. Her civic activities over the years have included working with the Houston Food Bank, Angel Outreach, National Charity Roundtable, and several other initiatives, including volunteering with the National Charity League.

When she isn’t working with patients, Dr. Vakil enjoys spending time with family & friends, reading, cooking, and traveling. She enjoys going to concerts at the pavilion because of its local hometown atmosphere.

A Professional Who Is Always Learning

Dr. Vakil maintains an active membership in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), which is dedicated exclusively to serving the needs and interests of general dentists with “resources, support, and inspiration they need to deliver the best dental care and oral health education to the public.”

Through AGD, Dr. Vakil has been able to avail herself of more than 500 hours of continuing education that have helped her achieve her exceptional level of expertise and deliver consistently increasing value to her patients.
