Clear Aligners Are the Discreet Solution to Crowded Teeth
Avoid the Discomfort of Metal Braces with Clear Aligners
Crowded, misaligned teeth are troublesome both for personal appearance and for the fact that they can lead to other dental health problems. For instance, in addition to making you self-conscious about your smile, a misaligned tooth can push neighboring teeth out of alignment as well, causing something of a domino effect that leads to an uneven bite, possible problems chewing properly, and the development of hard-to-clean areas that can become breeding grounds for bacteria and tooth decay. Misaligned teeth can also contribute to jaw pain and stiffness issues. In The Woodlands, clear aligners solve problems discreetly and painlessly.
How Invisalign Works
Invisalign uses a series of custom-engineered aligners to gently move teeth into the proper position, with the patient receiving a new set of aligners at each stage of progress.
If Dr. Vakil determines you’re a candidate for Invisalign, she will begin with a thorough explanation of the procedure and the costs involved.
Once the decision to move forward has been made, we’ll take photographs, x-rays, and imprints of your teeth and send them to Invisalign, where a series of custom aligners and your personal plan for using them will be developed and sent to us.
You will then have an appointment in which Dr. Vakil will explain in detail how to follow the treatment plan.
Invisalign straighten teeth discreetly without the inconveniences and discomfort that come with traditional metal braces.
Clear aligners are so thin and transparent that you can confidently show your smile while wearing them; most people won’t even tell you you have them on. Clear aligners are a winning solution all around.
