Oral Sedation
This is a good option for those patients who suffer from high dental anxiety. We prescribe an oral medication to take before your appointment. This will completely relax you, although you are still awake and can respond to our team. You will be too relaxed to drive and will need a responsible adult to drive you to and from your dental appointment.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide or laughing gas allows treatment to proceed smoothly in a relaxed environment. It is the most commonly used and time-tested dental sedation available. While it can make the patient feel “euphoric”, it is also easily reversible with pure oxygen. It is perfect for patients (not minors) who need to drive themselves to and from appointments
